Hemp Products vs CBD Products: The REAL Difference

With the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, more and more states are opening their doors to hemp and CBD products.

In response, vendors are innovating their stock so that users can enjoy their CBD in a number of ways. Some of the most popular goods include CBD Gummies, hemp flower cigarettes, full-spectrum hemp oil, and pure CBD isolate.

However, there’s still a lot of confusion surrounding CBD and hemp, and even the well-informed consumer is left with many questions.

For instance, what’s the difference between hemp and CBD merchandise?

Can “hemp products” and “CBD products” be referred to interchangeably? Not exactly. In this guide, you’ll see why.

First, let’s talk about the basics: the differences between hemp and marijuana.

Hemp vs Marijuana

So what’s the difference between hemp and marijuana?

While these two plants are related, they do share some major differences.

One of the biggest differences is the THC amount.

THC, short for tetrahydrocannabinol, is a phytocannabinoid known for creating an intoxicating effect. It does this chiefly by triggering a rush of dopamine and can potentially foster a sense of euphoria.

Marijuana is known for possessing THC in high concentrations. This varies widely with each strain, but more than 10% is considered “high THC.” Some strains can actually hold over 20%.

On the other hand, industrial hemp is known to carry far less THC by comparison.

In fact, one of the few current regulations of hemp in the U.S, involves THC count. Hemp strains and hemp products must have a THC count of up to 0.3%.

Why are hemp items becoming so popular? Let’s start answering this question by taking a closer look at hemp.

Hemp: Its Uses and What It’s Made Of

If you’ve ever wondered exactly what hemp even is, you’re not alone.

Hemp, also known as cannabis sativa, is a highly versatile plant that we humans have used for over 10,000 years. Evidence of its use has been found in a vast range of civilizations, including China, Rome, and native tribes of the Americas.

Even today, hemp is grown all over the world for a number of uses. For instance, its stems are made into fibers, which can be made into fabric for clothes, rope, paper, and furniture coverings. Meanwhile, the seeds make a delicious salad topping that’s rich in protein and healthy fats.

But this is just scratching the surface with hemp products.

CBD: Hemp’s Secret Weapon

In the past few years, hemp’s cultivation has skyrocketed because of one particular compound it possesses: cannabidiol, also known as CBD.

CBD is an incredibly unique compound, mainly because of the way it interacts with our bodies and minds.

Specifically, humans (and many animals) have what’s called an endocannabinoid system, or ECS, which plays a major role in managing stress and relaxation.

Whenever these factors are invoked, the ECS releases what are known as cannabinoids.

How does this relate to CBD?

Interestingly, CBD works almost exactly like the cannabinoids our bodies make, and that’s why CBD is known as a phytocannabinoid or a “plant-derived” cannabinoid.

This is important because growing research has suggested that CBD offers a number of benefits for the body, as well as the mind. As a result, CBD’s puts users’ systems at ease.

So, you’ve probably seen “CBD products” and “hemp products” and wondered if there’s a difference between the two.

The answer is yes. First, it helps to understand what makes them similar.

Both CBD and hemp merchandise comes from the oil extracted from industrial hemp. It’s also good to realize that both hemp and CBD merchandise contains CBD.

The real difference between hemp and CBD items for sale lies in the amount of CBD and other elements that they contain.

News flash: Hemp is good for much more than CBD!

Let’s take a deeper look at hemp-derived goods.

full spectrum cbd oil

Hemp Oil & Hemp Products

When an item’s marked as a “hemp product,” and it’s not fiber-based textile or rope, this generally means that it was made with hemp oil.

Hemp oil is a whole-plant extract, typically derived from the stalk or seed of hemp plants. That’s why hemp oil doesn’t just possess CBD.

As mentioned, hemp oil contains all of hemp’s compounds. Just a few of these compounds include a wealth of phytocannabinoids, including CBG, CBN, and yes, a small amount of THC. There is also a plethora of other components, such as terpenes, which provide their own benefits and aromatic qualities. Then there are flavonoids that supply your immune system with powerful antioxidants.

When something is made with all these natural compounds, we call it “full-spectrum.” Meanwhile, “broad-spectrum” hemp oil is almost exactly the same. It contains all of those same components except THC, which is completely removed.

Seeing your hemp product marked as broad spectrum or full spectrum is important, as it helps distinguish from pure “hemp seed” oil.

Hemp seed oil comes from hemp, but as the name suggests, it’s derived from the seeds of the plant. Unlike the stem, leaves, or flowers of hemp, the seeds contain little to none of the aforementioned phytocannabinoids. In other words, hemp seed oil has almost no CBD.

Hemp seed oil contains some serious nutritional benefits, thanks to its concentration of gamma-linolenic acid, and antioxidants, as well as omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. In other words, hemp seed oil is a superfood in its own right.

CBD Oil & CBD Products

Now that we have some foundation with what hemp is, and what exactly hemp-based products offer the body, let’s talk about CBD.

Here’s the thing about CBD we need to understand: It is almost always extracted from hemp. Sometimes it’s taken from cannabis, but this is less common because it’s not yet legal in all 50 States. At the same time, cannabis doesn’t have as much CBD as hemp.

Ultimately, the best CBD oil is just CBD, which has been isolated and extracted from the plant. There are no other phytocannabinoids, terpenes, or flavonoids that are typically found in full-spectrum or broad-spectrum hemp oil.

Pure CBD products tend to have the purest, highest concentrations of CBD. Many people find them to be more effective than full-spectrum or broad-spectrum hemp oil. They are also flavorless and odorless, making them ideal for those who really don’t care for the dank taste and smell often associated with hemp oil.

High Strength CBD Oil Tincture vs. Low Strength CBD Oil Tinctures

High Strength CBD Oil Tincture vs. Low Strength CBD Oil Tinctures

Shopping for CBD can make you feel like a kid in the candy store, but it can also be confusing, especially when it comes to determining high-strength CBD tinctures from low-strength CBD tinctures.

And it’s not made any easier when some CBD sellers label their hemp oils and tinctures with wording that may be unclear, like “purity” or “potency.”

The strength of your CBD tincture is a huge part of your selection process, and depends on how much cannabidiol the product contains.
But what exactly is cannabidiol? And how can we deviate low-strength CBD tinctures from high-strength CBD tinctures?

In this shopper’s guide, we plan to answer those questions and more.

What is CBD?

So what exactly is CBD, anyway?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a unique compound which comes from both hemp and marijuana plants.

Yes, that means that CBD is found in weed, alongside its relative, THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid known for creating a “high.”

However, hemp plants contain little THC, but instead exceptionally high levels of CBD, which won’t get you high, but does pose its own benefits.
One of the most common uses of CBD is for alleviating stress. Many individuals have found success in calming their nerves with CBD. In one Brazilian study, for instance, it was shown that 300 mg doses of CBD helped with speech anxiety amongst 60% of subjects.

Full Spectrum Hemp Oil (A.K.A. full-spectrum CBD oil, whole hemp oil)

Full-spectrum hemp oil is just what it sounds like. It’s going to provide you with the entire spectrum of cannabinoids; not only CBD, but also CBN, CBG, CBD, along with naturally occurring terpenes that are essential for creating the entourage effect.

Full-spectrum can contain up to .3% THC, but rest assured that’s not enough to create any kind of psychoactive effect or high. Plus, full-spectrum hemp oil is legal in all 50 states.

Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil (A.K.A. broad-spectrum CBD oil, hemp oil, hemp extract)

While broad-spectrum hemp oil isn’t going to provide all of the cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes, it’s still going to deliver a considerable amount, with the added benefit of being THC-free.

While it is recommended by many CBD lovers to buy products with just a little THC, it really is up to the customer whether they want THC in their hemp oil, or if they don’t want any at all. And this option is perfect for the latter.

CBD isolate (A.K.A. CBD oil, pure CBD oil, hemp oil)

CBD isolate is just that: pure CBD extracted from the plant, with no other cannabinoids, terpenes or flavonoids. CBD isolates are typically suspended in oil or glycerin, and can be easily incorporated into other products.

Determining CBD Strength

You’ve probably heard a few times now that it’s important to read the label of your CBD product so that you know the dosage, and this sounds pretty simple, right?

If you’ve ever read a hemp oil or tincture label before, only to be met with confusion, you’re not alone.

Because of the different forms that CBD products can take, it can often be difficult to understand its strength. It doesn’t make things any easier when the products are not clearly labeled.

Typically, what you’ll see with CBD tinctures is the amount of CBD in mg listed per bottle. Keep in mind, the entire bottle, so you’re not going to get all of that CBD in one dose. It’s also important to keep the bottle size in mind, as this will be key in determining how much CBD you’ll get per dose in your product, as well as the CBD percentage.

Determining the percentage can be quite useful, as it can give you a better understanding of how strong your CBD oil tincture is, whether it’s taken in droppers or milliliters.

For instance, a 30 ml bottle of CBD oil may contain 1500 mg CBD, while a 60 mg bottle can also have the same 1500 mg CBD. If we know that a 30 ml bottle of 1500 mg has a strength of 50%, a bottle with double the size would dilute the same amount of CBD by half. So a 60 ml bottle of 1500 mg would be 25%.

While we hope that this will give you a general idea of how to calculate the percentages for your hemp oil, we know it can still be a hassle to determine on your own.
So we broke down our favorite CBD tinctures from low-strength to high strength in this shopper’s guide:

A Shopper’s Guide to Potency Levels

Low Strength (less than 10% CBD)

Looking at the lower end of the spectrum, formulas with lower concentrations of CBD come highly recommended for those new to CBD oil.

Low-strength CBD tinctures are useful for a variety of purposes. For instance, many individuals may have a sensitive endocannabinoid system and might benefit from less CBD, even as they continue to use it. Low-strength CBD tinctures are also well-suited for everyday wellness and managing stress.

JustCBD offers multiple low-strength CBD products.

The 50 mg CBD tincture is easily the lowest-strength dosage, containing roughly 2%. It is perfect for anyone who wants to try CBD, but feels unsure about how it’ll affect them. With its mild formula of honey and vegetable-based glycerin, you’ll have no problem incorporating it into your wellness routine.

With these liquid tinctures, it’s easy to bump up to the 100 mg and 250 mg dosages.

The Coconut Oil tincture also offers the same set of dosages, with the added benefit of coconut oil. This is an excellent source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) that are excellent for converting into quick, efficient energy as soon as it enters the body.

Mid Potency (15-30% CBD)

Mid-range strengths, generally around 500-800 mg per 30 ml bottle, are perfect for those who’ve tried low-strength CBD tinctures, but feel that they’re not experiencing the effects.

JustCBD’s classic Liquid Honey Tincture is available in 550 mg per 30 ml bottle, which is about 18% CBD. If you need a CBD tincture with a fatty content for cooking, or seek to enhance your wellness routine, the Coconut Oil Tincture is also available at the same dosage.
550 mg = 18% CBD

High Potency (30-60% CBD)

High-strength CBD tinctures are generally recommended for those suffering from a lack of sleep and high levels of stress. First-time CBD users are typically advised to work their way up to this strength level.

For experienced CBD users with a need for potent and reliable relief, we recommend trying the Liquid Honey Tincture. It is perfect for slipping into your evening tea or bedtime beverage. The tea comes in strengths of 1000 mg (roughly 33% CBD) and 1500 mg (50% CBD). Meanwhile, the Coconut Oil Tincture offers its beneficial fatty content and is available in the same dosages.

Choosing Your CBD

Finding your perfect level of CBD might not be completed in one simple calculation. In fact, it often takes a little trial and error to perfect.

The best potency for you is going to depend on your own needs and qualities. When it comes to tinctures, it’s a good rule of thumb to start out with a low-strength. Take the time to observe the way affects your body before making any adjustments.

Whatever CBD strength you choose, make sure that the brand you’re getting is reputable, and creates a trustworthy product that’s worth your money.

Reputable CBD brands will always list their CBD amounts per product on the label, so that you can get an idea of its strength with just a quick glance. At the same time, trustworthy brands will readily offer a certificate of analysis from an independent lab.

JustCBD always sources its CBD from the best-quality hemp grown by experienced and independent farmers throughout the United States.

CBD Summer Cocktails 101

summer cbd cocktails

When people consider trying CBD through a more enjoyable, flavorful experience, edibles are likely what will come to mind first, and not a refreshing CBD-infused cocktail.

And yet, individuals may find that CBD in a beverage can be just as (if not more) effective for delivering its benefits. And enjoying your own refreshing CBD beverage can be quite simple, so why not use it as a reason to hone your bartending skills this summer?

Before we throw some CBD mixology inspiration your way, we’ll go over all the basics: the benefits of CBD cocktails, what you need in order to assemble one, and a general idea of how much CBD you should be using as you go.

Benefits & Effects of CBD Cocktail

While CBD is related to the component THC, it doesn’t have the same psychoactive properties responsible for creating the high that cannabis is known for, though it does come with its own factors. For one thing, CBD can make the flavors in your cocktail a bit more complex. And for another, CBD and alcohol may make for an especially relaxing time.

CBD has a growing amount of research on its aptitude for promoting relaxation, and while this effect doesn’t always hit everyone the same way, it can factor into the stress-reducing effects of alcohol. And a CBD mocktail is the perfect option for those who are steering clear of alcohol for their own reasons, but don’t want to miss out on drinks with friends.

Keep in mind, though, that while CBD is not intoxicating, it might be best to go easy on the dosing with harder drinks. Studies have shown that while CBD may help lower the blood alcohol levels while drinking, it doesn’t seem to dull alcohol’s effect on motor/cognitive functions.
In terms of benefits, however, CBD may help counteract the effects of alcohol in a few ways, one of those being sleep. Consuming alcohol can impact sleep consistency by altering levels of the hormone adenosine. But according to a 2018 study from Scientific Neurological International, CBD may be able to help stabilize your adenosine levels by gradually reducing the reuptake, allowing them to naturally assume their optimal levels.

In the case of CBD cocktails, the effects vary from person to person: some may feel completely tranquil and chilled out, while some may feel no effect at all. One of the main benefits of enjoying CBD as a beverage is the difference in absorption time: when one consumes a CBD edible, they have to take digestion time into consideration, as this plays a huge role in how quickly you’ll feel any kind of relaxing effect.
But when in the form of a drinkable beverage, the required digestion time is almost nonexistent. Keep in mind, though, that the CBD will still take some time (about 30 minutes on average) to enter the bloodstream, so you probably won’t achieve instant effects.

But in the meantime, why not use the wait time to enjoy your CBD cocktail this summer?

Now, let’s take a look at what you need to make the perfect CBD-infused refresher.

What You Need For CBD Cocktails

Alcohol

Unless you’re crafting a CBD mocktail, alcohol is going to be a key ingredient in your drink.

When mixing CBD with alcohol, it’s wise to keep the ABV (alcohol by volume) in mind and to ensure drinking responsibly. With that being said, the type of alcohol you use is really up to you; incorporating CBD may even make a surprising addition to your favorite mixed beverage.

If you’re still unsure about a starting point, though, gin has many of the same terpenes as CBD, along with amaro-based spirits like vermouth, which might promote a vivid flavor and aroma.

Sugar

We love a sweet daiquiri or piña colada in the summer, but keep the sugar light when you can, especially when trying CBD cocktails for the first time.

This is because sugar and alcoholic beverages are both known to trigger inflammation in some individuals, and too much inflammatory food can cancel out CBD’s anti-inflammatory benefits. That being said, we encourage the use of alternative sweeteners like agave, honey or stevia whenever possible.

CBD

Of course, CBD is the featured ingredient here, and while it brings novelty, it brings up some uncertainty, as well. But not to worry, because we’ll dispel them all here.

Of course, it’s key to start with a quality CBD.

When it comes to mixing CBD cocktails at home, our readers often ask: what’s the difference between CBD tinctures and CBD oils?

To put it simply, oils are oil-based, whereas tinctures are glycerin or alcohol-based, and as we know from our earlier chemistry classes, oil and water don’t mix. This means that CBD tinctures tend to dissolve better in cocktails. And while CBD oils will gather and float to the surface, this can lend a unique flavor and aroma to some beverages, and can even be used in foams and creams.

If you do choose to incorporate a CBD tincture into your cocktail, we recommend that you skip the alcohol-based tinctures, and instead stick with the tinctures that use glycerin. Glycerin is plant-based and has a slightly sweet taste, and it pairs beautifully with pure honey in our Liquid Honey Tinctures.

As for dosage, this can vary from person to person, but as most brands recommend 25 mg as a general starting dosage, it may be wise to keep it at 15 mg when incorporating alcoholic drinks. Of course, keep in mind that at the end of the day, nothing will determine your own ideal CBD dosage better than some experimentation and the help of a physician.

How to Make DIY CBD Lotion at Home

how make DIY CBD Lotion at home

You’ve probably already noticed it too: CBD beauty is here, and it’s begun to branch out, from vitamin-rich serums, to pain creams, to moisturizing CBD lotions.

And it’s no wonder, as CBD has been reported to hold a number of benefits for the body. While CBD won’t get you high, it possesses several known qualities which we tend to respond well to. This is thanks to the endocannabinoid system, which has a large role in managing and regulating functions in the body, including mood, stress, sleep habits, and appetite.

In addition, CBD is particularly known for its anti-inflammatory properties, and this is a big deal for a couple of reasons–the first being that inflammation is the underlying cause of many ailments, and the second would be that inflammation can be tough to manage.

However, CBD has had an impressive success rate with managing inflammation in a number of places throughout the human body. And would you be surprised to see that this includes our skin? After all, it’s the largest organ on our bodies!

If you’ve experienced dry skin in the past, or are seeking out something with antioxidants to provide a more youthful glow, CBD lotion can be an excellent way to attain it.

And while you can find a variety of CBD lotions available on the market, sometimes we’d rather make our own version of natural skin care. And you can still do so when CBD is an ingredient!

In this article, we’ll talk about some of our favorite benefits obtained from CBD lotion, and how to make your own CBD lotion at home.

How CBD Lotion Works

What exactly is CBD lotion?

Essentially, CBD lotion is a topical product with the infusion of either CBD oil or hemp oil, and while it won’t get you high in any way, it can help lend over a few of ifs skin-soothing abilities in a few different ways–just one being the wealth of anti-aging antioxidants available, and all the better if your CBD lotion features ingredients that your skin will love.

And in a good quality lotion, you’ll also get the benefits of ingredients that are naturally hydrating, nourishing and rejuvenating.

Here are a few qualities that CBD adds to a lotion formula.

1. Breakouts + Dryness

One of the most fascinating effects that CBD has on skin is through the sebaceous glands, which are among the many parts of our bodies which have CB1 and CB2 receptors.

Sebaceous glands produce sebum, a substance excreted to keep our skin lubricated. When sebum builds up, it mixes with dead skin and sweat, which often leads to clogging the pores.

If you find that you constantly suffer excess sebum, CBD can be a useful skin care ingredient, and when used in a body lotion, it can be especially helpful for those who experience breakout on their limbs, back, and chest.

2. Dry Skin

CBD doesn’t just manage sebum levels by preventing overflow and clogging, but it can also work well at preventing sebum levels from becoming too low.

Because of CBD’s abilities to maintain functional balance, it’s able to keep your sebum at the level it needs to be; meaning that it can keep your skin from both being too oily and too dry.

Additionally, hemp contains a lot of fatty lipids, which are excellent emollients for softening and moisturizing the skin.

Because of this multi-faceted approach to hydration, daily application of a CBD lotion can also help the flare-ups of eczema and psoriasis, while cooling down existing rashes and reducing the urge to scratch.

3. Anti-Aging Benefits of CBD Lotion

Seeing that CBD can help prevent both dry skin and acne, you’d be surprised that it can be even more versatile than we’ve already described, but it is!

CBD also holds anti-aging properties, mainly in the form of its antioxidants.

Antioxidants protect the skin from free radicals, which are commonly encountered in our environments.

Free radicals are unstable molecules, and will try to balance themselves out by bonding with the atoms in our skin. Over time, a buildup of free radicals can cause advanced signs of aging on the skin.

Antioxidants, however, are able to neutralize free radicals to cancel them out.

Besides this, CBD may also help fade hyperpigmentation and dark spots by encouraging cell turnover. And when combined with other rejuvenating skin care ingredients, this feature may work even more efficiently.

How to Make CBD Lotion at Home

While you can find quite a variety of CBD lotions and moisturizers from reputable CBD beauty brands, we know that some individuals enjoy DIY skin care.

While we normally advise against DIY treatments for the delicate skin on your face without the aid of an esthetician or skin care expert, homemade body lotions are safe; just make sure to avoid any ingredients that you’ve had reactions to in the past, and make sure that all of your ingredients and equipment are sanitary beforehand.

Ingredients Needed

  1. 1/8 cup of vegetable glycerin
  2. 1/8 cup jojoba oil
  3. 2 tsp CBD Oil or Full Spectrum CBD Oil

You Will Need

  1. Double boiler, or saucepan with a heat-proof bowl
  2. Spatula
  3. Heat-proof container
  4. Emulsion blender or glass blender
  5. Canning jar or mason jar for storage

Directions

  1. 1. Add 1-2 inches of water to your double boiler and turn the heat between low to medium heat.
  2. Starting with the thickest ingredients, add the coconut oil and shea butter or beeswax to the top of the boiler or in a safe heat bowl. Gently melt while frequently stirring until all the lumps are gone, and the liquid is smooth.
  3. Turn off the stove and transfer oils to a heat-safe container and allow the mixture to cool for an hour.
  4. Add aloe vera, glycerin, CBD oil, and desired essential oils. Blend with the use of a hand mixer or glass blender until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

If you find that your lotion blend is too thin, melt a small amount of shea butter or beeswax and gradually add to the mixture. If too thick, add some more aloe vera and glycerin, but the key is always to add in very small increments when making adjustments.

Once done, transfer your DIY CBD lotion into the mason jar or container, and store in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.

Our CBD Lotion

While a CBD lotion made from the comfort of your home can be a fun, rewarding project, it may sometimes feel like a little extra work, especially if you’re seeking out the benefits of a CBD lotion long-term.

For those instances, we encourage you to buy a CBD lotion that’s been expertly and responsibly formulated.

Our hemp-infused Moisturizing Body Lotion contains the hydrating, pore-balancing benefits of CBD, while the added benefits of hyaluronic acid play in, as well.

Hyaluronic acid is widely considered a skin care staple for all skin types, as it delivers tremendous concentrations of water through the lipid barrier in the skin. This helps your skin stay moisturized, clear and firm!

And for those who have a history of skin sensitivity, rest assured that our hemp-infused body lotion formula is hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested, making it suitable for all skin types.

As a gentle, mild CBD topical, our CBD lotion is a product that’s great for those trying CBD for the first time, and can be used as often as desired. For best results, though, we recommend application twice a day, especially after showering or bathing, as washing our body with soap can do a lot to strip the skin of its natural oils.

But to get the most out of your CBD lotion, it’s recommended to apply daily and liberally, especially after showering. This way, your skin is always saved after it’s stripped by your soaps and cleansers. Also, our hemp soap is great for the skin.

How to Apply Hemp Body Lotion

In general, CBD topicals have mild effects, as CBD absorbed through areas on the skin will stay local. On top of that, our CBD lotion has is exceptionally gentle, so this CBD lotion can be used as often as you need a burst of hydration.

FAQs

What does DIY CBD lotion do?

DIY CBD lotion can work just as well as any traditional moisturizer, the main difference is that a homemade formula will always have a shorter shelf life. While skin care products have been carefully formulated to last months, a DIY product will only last about 2 weeks.

Can CBD lotion fail a drug test?

If a CBD lotion lists pure “cannabidiol” in the ingredients list, and no “THC” or “tetrahydrocannabinol” in sight, it’s safe to say that CBD lotion will not make you fail a drug test.

This is because most cannabidiol is derived from pure hemp, which has a characteristically low THC content, and even less of that amount is actually absorbed through the skin.

Is hemp lotion for pain?

While evidence that it can bring down inflammation, CBD lotion is not specifically formulated as a pain-relieving product, and isn’t recommended for such use.

Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil

cbd oil vs hemp oil
Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil Which to Choose

Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a species of plant that’s harvested and used in various diverse ways. You can often find hemp clothing, jewelry, building materials, and a lot more, but it’s also used for food products. Hemp Oil and CBD Oil are two of the consumable products which come from hemp extracts. However, the two products are extremely different, and consumers are often left confused about the differences between Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil.

Hemp Oil is a cooking oil similar to products such as Olive Oil and Coconut Oil. It’s extracted from the seeds of hemp and contains many beneficial fatty acids and vitamins, but no cannabinoids. CBD Oil contains high amounts of cannabidiol- the cannabinoid in hemp known for its therapeutic effects. Here’s a guide on Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil- what they are, their benefits, and which one is better for you.

What is Hemp Oil?

Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil

Hemp Oil is one of the many products derived from hemp plants. Unlike CBD Oil, Hemp Oil contains extracts from hemp seeds. While the seeds of hemp don’t contain CBD, they do contain many natural ingredients which can have benefits for your health.

Hemp Oil is mainly used in cooking. Much like Olive Oil, you can use it in all kinds of recipes to add some nutritional value to your food. It’s low in carbohydrates and high in protein and healthy fats, which makes it useful for those on a diet or those who simply want to add some extra benefits to their food.

If you need a product to help with medical ailments, Hemp Oil isn’t necessarily the best choice. It doesn’t have the pain and anxiety-relieving effects of CBD Oil. However, hemp seeds do contain a lot of nutritional content, and the Omega-3 acids, Omega-6 acids, and vitamins and minerals in Hemp Oil can have benefits for your overall health and well being.

What is CBD Oil ABC’s

What is CBD Oil?

CBD Oil, also known as CBD Tincture, is one of the many products which contains high levels of cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a safe, non-psychoactive cannabinoid which has been shown by studies to have many natural benefits for the body. CBD attaches to endocannabinoid receptors in your body, causing various reactions which can help in many ways.

Although CBD Oil can be extracted from marijuana, most brands use hemp plants instead. The 2018 US Farm Bill makes it so the production and use of hemp products are legal all across the USA. Hemp-based CBD products must contain less than 0.3% THC. These are food supplements which are legal to buy and use even without a prescription, making them much more easily available than medical cannabis products.

Although you can infuse your cooking with CBD Oil or simply swallow it, the most effective way to use it is by applying the oil under your tongue. By holding it there for 60-90 seconds, you can absorb the cannabinoids into your system to get the perks of cannabidiol. Users who want therapeutic effects can benefit from CBD Oil.

Hemp Oil Benefits

Hemp Oil Benefits

Hemp Oil may not contain any cannabinoids, but it does have its own natural benefits for the body. Hemp is often considered a superfood due to its high nutritional content. Using it in your cooking can have fantastic benefits for your body and your overall health.

Hemp seeds contain high levels of healthy fatty acids such as Omega-3 and Omega-6. These have been shown to have many health benefits.

Hemp seeds also contain a wealth of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. These can help improve your overall health and reduce the risk of various health problems. You’ll also get a high amount of protein and amino acids which help body recovery and overall body function. You can get all of these benefits from using Hemp Oil in your cooking, making it a very useful product.

CBD Oil Benefits

While Hemp Oil uses the contents of hemp seeds, CBD Oil uses extracts from the stems and flowers of hemp. CBD Oil contains a high level of CBD or cannabidiol. Full-spectrum extracts also contain other cannabinoids and terpenes which add extra health benefits to the product.

There are various studies which show how CBD can benefit users.

Unlike marijuana-based products, CBD Oil only contains trace amounts of THC and will not get you high. You can use it safely without any risky side effects, and it’s also non-addictive. This makes it a very helpful product for many users.

Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil: Which to Choose

Both of these products have their perks and both are widely available. You can find Hemp Oil along with other cooking oils in many grocery stores and health stores. While you can find CBD Oil in many physical stores, it’s also easy and convenient to buy CBD Tincture Oil online.

If you want an alternative to cooking oils like Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil, Hemp Oil has some great benefits. It’s high in protein, amino acids, and healthy fatty acids.

CBD Oil is a good alternative to things like medical cannabis. While it’s not classified as a medical treatment, many users find the effects highly therapeutic for a range of issues. There are also other CBD products you can use such as CBD Gummies and CBD Vape Cartridges which can give you the same benefits.

Conclusion

Although Hemp Oil and CBD Oil are very different products, both have a range of benefits which might make them helpful for some

How to Make Homemade CBD Gummies

How to Make Homemade CBD Gummies
How to Make CBD Gummies At Home

How Are CBD Gummies made?

CBD Gummies are perfect for consumers who want to take cannabidiol but don’t enjoy using CBD Tincture or vaping CBD Oil. CBD Gummies offer an especially enjoyable way to take CBD by eating cannabidiol-infused treats such as gummy bears, sour worms, peach rings, and various other tasty candies. They’re convenient and fun as well as being an effective way to consume cannabidiol. But how are CBD Gummies made?

Like with other CBD products, CBD Gummies are infused with cannabidiol extract to make it easy to consume. While readymade CBD Gummies usually involve a more complex manufacturing process, you can also make CBD Gummies at home fairly easily using products like CBD Tincture or Isolate. Here’s an overview of CBD Gummies, how they’re made, and how to create your own.

What Are CBD Gummies?

CBD Gummies are one of the many kinds of convenient CBD products available today, as well as being one of the most popular. CBD Gummies aren’t as fast-acting as CBD Tinctures, but they’re just as effective as well as arguably being more enjoyable for many users. CBD Gummies come in all kinds of forms mimicking popular gummy sweets such as Gummy Bears, Sour Rings, Sour Worms, and more.

You use CBD Gummies simply by eating them. Your body will digest the cannabidiol, where it’ll then attach to cannabinoid receptors in your system and activate the endocannabinoid system. As such, it’s a particularly straightforward method of consumption which doesn’t take long and makes sense for many users.

There are many readymade CBD Gummies available which offer a small dose of cannabidiol in each gummy. Users who feel adventurous can also make CBD Gummies at home in all kinds of fun forms. Whichever way, CBD Gummies are a great way to enjoy cannabidiol as well as being very safe and effective to usCBD Gummies Mad?

All cannabidiol products start with CBD extract. CBD is a naturally-occurring chemical found in cannabis and hemp plants and used in various kinds of products. Although some CBD products use extracts from marijuana plants, most brands nowadays use hemp extracts to make products legally available.

A complex extraction process is used to extract cannabidiol from the plant and separate the rest of the plant matter. Many products use full-spectrum extracts which contain a range of other helpful cannabinoids and terpenes as well as CBD. Others use CBD isolate which separates the CBD from every other component for maximum purity.

CBD Gummies are made in the same way as regular gummies, only with CBD extracts infused into the gelatin. Although CBD manufacturers may use professional equipment to mass-produce CBD Gummies, it’s also possible to make CBD Gummies yourself using a few basic ingredients and pieces of cooking equipment.

CBD Edibles

How To Make CBD Gummies At Home?

If you want a fun and rewarding project, then you should try making CBD Gummies at home. It’s surprisingly straightforward and you can make them in various ways. You can make these in any kind of shape or flavor you want, allowing for a lot of creativity and versatility. Making CBD Gummies requires the following ingredients:

1 pack (or ½ a cup) of gelatin

1 ½ cups of fruit juice in your choice of flavor

A bottle of CBD Oil Tincture

A tablespoon of sugar or sweetener

You’ll only need a few things- a saucepan, silicone gummy molds, and a whisk or spoon to stir the mixture. First, pour your fruit juice into the pan and heat it at a moderate heat (you don’t want it to boil). Next, add your sweetener. You can use sugar, honey or other sweeteners such as Splenda.

Stir gently and wait for the mixture to heat up without boiling. Now, slowly add your gelatin and stir it until the gelatin has dissolved completely. After this, add your CBD Tincture. Usually, around 24 drops should be enough. You’ll need to stir the tincture in fast for it to mix well. Alternatively, you can wait and add a few drops of CBD Oil Tincture to your gummy molds.

Once everything is mixed together, you can pour the mixture out into your silicone molds. You can buy these in stores or online in many different shapes, such as basic square molds or gummy bear molds. Now, refrigerate your molds and give them time to harden. Once they’ve solidified, your CBD Gummies are ready to use.

Where To Buy Readymade CBD Gummies?

Although you can make CBD Gummies, it’s much easier to buy readymade CBD Gummies. These will usually be of much higher quality and give you great flavors in a delicious form, along with a good dose of cannabidiol. Fortunately, there are many kinds of CBD Gummies available to buy online at JustCBDStore.

The CBD Gummies 500mg Jar is good for beginners who want to try CBD Gummies out. It’s available in various flavors, including Sour Bears, Apple Rings, Happy Faces, Worms, Rainbow Ribbons, Sour Worms, Peach Rings, Gummy Cherries, Blueberry Rings, and Watermelon Rings. Each gummy contains a small dose of CBD, but you’ll get many in each jar.

Higher quantities are also available. Users who want to stock up on CBD can buy the CBD Gummies 750mg Jar, 1000mg Jar, 3000mg Jar or even a 3000mg Party Pack. Other kinds of CBD Gummies are also available. For instance, those who want to avoid consuming too much sugar can buy Sugar-Free CBD Gummies and those interested in CBD gummy vitamins can try Jet Setters.

You can also buy other kinds of CBD products. CBD Oil Tinctures and CBD Isolate are great for infusing into homemade gummies or using on their own. You can also buy other types of CBD Edibles like CBD Protein Bars and CBD Dried Fruit.

Conclusion

CBD Gummies are a fantastic way to consume cannabidiol. They’re fun, effective, and you can even make them yourself. It only takes some gelatin, fruit juice, and CBD Tincture to make your own. However, it’s also easy enough to buy high-quality readymade CBD Gummies. For a wide range of CBD products available for delivery, check out JustCBDStore.

Best CBD Gummies for Sale

Best CBD Gummies for Sale

Cannabidiol (CBD) products are everywhere these days. Since the 2018 Farm Bill made it legal to buy the industrial hemp throughout the nation, delicious CBD Gummies have exploded in popularity. In fact, more consumers buy the edibles than any other CBD merchandise out there, including vape pens, oil tinctures, bath bombs and pet treats.

Not only are the tasty CBD Gummies fun and colorful, but they are simple to consume. You never have to worry about dropping the right amount under your tongue or smoking anything. You just pop one in your mouth and go to town. Just CBD Gummies are also small and discreet enough to toss into your pocket or your purse.

So why are CBD oil gummies becoming so popular? For starters, they are wonderful for managing stress. Putting one’s mind and body at ease is fabulous for gaining high quality sleep, which can be remarkable for a person’s energy levels and memory skills throughout the day.

It’s important to realize that the top CBD edibles on the market come from hemp, not marijuana. While they both stem from the same cannabis plant, hemp doesn’t have enough THC to give a user a euphoric high. Yet, the CBD from hemp is known to help folks chill out, both physically and emotionally.

Luckily for people all over the globe, fantastic CBD gummies can now be purchased in a wide variety of colors, flavors and shapes. An individual can pick Just CBD Gummies from 250 mg, 500 mg, 750 mg, 1000 mg, and 3000 mg jars. Let’s take a look at 5 of the most popular types of Just CBD Gummies in 2020.

JustCBD Gummy Rings

The most popular CBD Gummies out there are the rings, thanks to how good they taste. The fun CBD edibles can be purchased in a wide variety of flavors, including Apple Rings, Blueberry Rings and Peach Rings. Rather than choosing one flavor, why not pick a handful of CBD Gummies available and try a different one or two throughout your days and nights?

JustCBD Gummy Bears

Not unlike consuming CBD gummy rings, eating potent CBD gummy bears couldn’t be easier. Doing so is no different than enjoying the regular gummy bears that you grew up with. Everything travels through your digestive system and gets absorbed into the bloodstream. Only the CBD treats will relax the mind and body in about 30 to 45 minutes. They are spectacular for helping folks chill out before bed. Pick between sweet gummy bears and our beloved Sour Bear option.

JustCBD Gummy Worms

They may not be nearly as popular as gummy rings or gummy bears, but those who buy CBD gummy worms love everything about them. The thick and sometimes colorful snakes are soft and chewy. At the same time, the CBD edibles taste marvelous, as they are infused with CBD oil and coated in sugar crystals. Just CBD even has sour worms with an interesting 2-toned color design.

JustCBD Sugar Free Gummies

Like implied in the name, there is no sugar whatsoever in our Sugar Free CBD Gummies. Rather, the sugar free succulent snacks are crafted with the hydrogenated glucose syrup known as Lycasin. It’s also found in various jellies and syrups. Not only is it nonaddictive and completely safe for human consumption, Lycasin is what gives our effective CBD treats their sweet and sugary tastes.

JustCBD Holiday-Themed Gummies

Whether it is celebratory red and white hearts for Valentine’s Day, orange ones for Halloween, green and red Holiday Trees or blue and white Snow flurries in December, what can be more fun than receiving holiday-themed gummy bears. They are perfect for adding something sweet to an office holiday party or chilling out at a family get together. They also make ideal decorative toppers for desserts. Take anywhere from one to three gummies every 6 to 8 hours, and you can remain calm and cool for all the festivities.

CBD Dosing for Gummies

These days, CBD products are everywhere. Men and women rely on tasty cannabidiol for everything from savory snacks to help them manage physical and mental stress. After all, the sale of hemp-based CBD merchandise in the United States is completely legal since President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill. Without question, colorful gummies are the most common CBD goods on the market, including CBD oil tinctures, bath bombs and pet treats. Fortunately, dosing CBD oil couldn’t be easier to figure out.

If you are worried about CBD dosing for anxiety, have no fear. There is no big secret when it comes to finding the right CBD oil dose? It just takes a little experimentation. If you’ve never eaten a CBD snack, it’s better to take it slow. Walk before you run. Start out with a small edible, like a 5 mg piece. Folks can even cut their CBD Gummies in half to take 2.5 mg at a time. It couldn’t be any easier. Then your mind and body will relax in no time.

It may take up to 30 minutes for the fantastic CBD to fully kick in, but it’s well worth the wait. After all, the benefits can last up to 5 hours at a time. If a couple hours go by and you want to enjoy some more delicious CBD edibles, there is no reason not to dig in. CBD oil dosing is worry-free, as it’s not possible to consume too much. At the same time, they are easy to carry, as they’re rather little and discreet. Whenever you feel like hanging loose, pop a few CBD Gummies in your mouth and enjoy. There is no liquid to measure or any smoke to stink up your clothes.

When it comes to dosing CBD Gummies to help you relax or even CBD dosing for dogs and cats during storms, the best products stem from hemp, rather than marijuana. That means there isn’t enough THC in your CBD items to make you high, which can be a lifesaver when you have to let your mind and body chill out.
